Rotation - "подъем" in terms of aviation probably

Rotate - отрыв передней ноги, takeoff - отрыв основных стоек. Соответственно, rotation speed и takeoff speed - скорости для того и другого в данных условиях и конфигурации аэроплана.
Насчет схемы с хвостовым колесом не уверен, но по-моему то же самое. Только при rotate отрывается хвостовое колесо, а тангаж и угол атаки уменьшаются.

Dear Tech Support:
Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed as slow down in the overall performance, particularly in the flower and jewellery applications that had operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.
In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, but installed undesirable programs such as NFL 5.0 and NBA 3.0.
And now Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?
Desperate.

Try FireFox programm. Also some Acrobat(ic) could help. If it will not help use Windows. :-)

Э, нет. Две совершенно разные ситуации.
Для простоты - пример с автомобилем. Если пошел винтом несущий кузов - все, аппарат ремонту не подлежит. Нет сейчас технологий, способных вернуть кузову прежнюю форму без потери прочности. А новый кузов - это новая машина, даже если поставить какие-то агрегаты от старой.
А вот если въехали в морду - совершенно другой расклад. Можно заменить бампер, решетку, радиатор, переднюю подвеску, световые приборы, еще что по мелочи - и будет как новенькая. Только вот стоимость ремонта будет выше, чем остаточная стоимость машины. Это и есть beyond the economic repair.
Хорошим примером будет "тушка" из Ижмы. Ежу понятно, что эвакуация ее с места посадки (с заменой двигателей, ремонтом полосы и уникальным взлетом за пределами РЛЭ) за пределами рентабельности. При наличии на вторичном рынке других "тушек" по бросовым ценам - тем более. А в преддверии постановки всего типа к забору - вообще на грани идиотизма. Но решение принималось не по экономическим критериям, а по каким-то иным.

Насчет автомобиля вы не правы.
Существует специальное оборудование для восстановления формы и геометрии кузовов.
Так восстанавливают даже внедорожники и микроавтобусы.
И если кузов "пошел винтом", то зачастую экономически выгоднее восстановить его геометрию если больше ничего не повреждено, чем восстанавливать всю морду при лобовом столкновении.
Потому что при лобовое столкновение само по себе очень дорого, а если задет движок, то экономическая целесообразность и вовсе исчезает.

Про стапели для планеров увы не слышал.

We still have our wires crossed. It's not about economic at all, but about regulations.
Each system, assembly or unit, a little bit more complicated than a kitchen table, has its unique serial number. And all of them has some kind of "core" - a component which should remain in the system after all repairs and modernizations. When this component gone - the whole system gone as well, and the serial number scratched out from the register. You can not replace all parts of the car, one by one, and say that it's the same car. You need to draw a line somewhere.
The "core" component depends on the system - blade for knife, body for car, hull for ship, airframe for aircraft. You can replace seats, cocpit, galley, control surfaces, landing gear, engines, even the whole wing - and it would be the same aircraft. But if the airframe damaged beyond the repair point - the plane gone.
Once again - it's not about economic, but about regulations. The handle of a knife may be ten times more expensive that a blade, but when blade broken - you can't put another blade into the same hanle and say that it's the same knife. Oh, you can, of course - but police officer will have a different opinion :)

See my point now? Some repairs are very efficient from the economical standpoint - but may bring you straight to the jail. Not unusial thing, errr? For some reason, the most profitable and benefitial things in the world are also illegal. Surprise, surprise... :)

That's pretty good question. We use 'double' for two sequential digits and 'triple' for three. "Cessna four double eight Mike Alpha".

But four identical digits in sequence - hm-m-m... I have never seen such numbers though it's a b s o l u t e l y legal (you may find some nice n-numbers here: http://registry.faa.gov/aircra ... )

I think that if you have such lucky number, you will get some kind of funny callsign sooner or later. "Dallas approach, this is Inna The Monte Carlo, inbound for landing..." :))

Well, there is another word for "paranoid filter" dictionary. In addition to "a b s o l u t e l y", it does not like "g u e s s" as well. What's wrong with that?

I would say "or" :)) If I was Mila, I would ask for refugee status, open a dive shop, take pictures of leopard sharks and sell it worldwide. Then open a flight school, by used Cessna and offer sightseeing rides over the shore. I'm looking for something like that for my retirement, but it's too early. Maybe in 20..30 years :)
