I have just "picked up" a few "bits" from another thread and asked my English husband to comment:
1. "Wanna teach English, go to prim. school"

What does this mean? Go to Primary school or go to a school that is noted for its serious and correct attitude? Never heard this before and I've been speaking English all my life.

2. "What's a petty behaviour?"
Shouldn't this be what petty behaviour. petty is an adjective.
and for those who like cockney:
If you are born within the Sound of Bow Bells,you are entitled to call yourself a cockney.)))

that's wierd..and the guy (Avtoritet) was boasting about his perfectly understandable English:))))))))

The core of the problem is that cockney is a dialect of mainly, working class Londoners, and now in addition is becoming the main "language" of people whose English IS a second language...It is declining and being displaced by a Jamaican Creole-influenced variety popular among young Londoners (sometimes referred to as "Jafaican")...
You can only imagine what kind of people you are mixing with to be able to communicate. I am afraid it's not the level of upper class or university porfessors' language.

Just wanna make myself clear.
Yes we communicate in proper English and write proper technical texts – but this is only for university. I’m quite bored speaking out that proper crap in everyday life.
And yes I communicate with chavs as well.

To be honest I use Russian slang in my life. In everyday life I speak (in Russian) as a theft in law (Avtoritet), with lots of expressions from cell blocks.
So what?
Who can blame me for that?

I got my IELTS 7.5, got my assessment test in university. Now I can speak, blame, spit at rules as I want as long as I at this forum or with friends.
I’m not here to teach or to be though. I even don’t reply to professional topics coz I’m here only for one simple reason. I’m having fun.
