Hello, guys and girls.
So by request of our topicstarter - here we are!
Beirut. Lebanon.
http://img.photobucket.com/alb ...

A huge statue of Maria, St. Mary, Miriam - choose the name for Jesus Mother as you wish.
http://img.photobucket.com/alb ...

Again - just Beirut from the top of the mountain.
http://img.photobucket.com/alb ...

My beloved place - Place de l'Йtoile - The Star Square.
This is a heart of Beirut.
http://img.photobucket.com/alb ...

New mosque.
http://img.photobucket.com/alb ...

These are two caves. One is dry and another one has a lake.
Photos are prohibited, so - just a postcard.
http://img.photobucket.com/alb ...

Very pitty place. Where Rafic Hariri has been blown up.
As you can see - police lines and militery patrols.
We have been there just a short time after the tragic event.

Where is this house from the last?
I know that "he spent his summers at various places in Scotland and England, including Westbourne, Dorset, a residential area in Bournemouth. There he lived in a dwelling he renamed Skerryvore after a lighthouse, the tallest in Scotland, built by his uncle Alan Stevenson many years earlier"
I was trying to find this place but couldn't.

I think that I couldn't find the house in Westbourne, residential area - 5 mins drive from my place, because the house was destroyed either by fire or something else. Need to pop in there once more "to brush up" my memory)))))

If you are in London and want to see this house I can advise you a root. Nothing special.
5 min walk fm Hampstead tube station.
By the way there is a great japanese reataurant there. Nothing posh, but food is unbelievable. You hardly can find such a kind of jap cousine elsewhere.
Believe me - I am fan of this place.
Nothing simular to what you normally have in japanese restaurants.
Have you ever tried a "pregnant fish" ? Hardly.
Do not worry - it'just a "мойва жареная с икрой" but such a taste!!!

Oh, Thanks. I can figure out the house but what about the name of the restaurant? Would apprciate this. I go to London sometimes and literally go to the same places which I know, mostly round Voctoria station. But to be honest, London restaurants could be a damn "poisoning thing" for money- I mean good taste but would cost you a fortune. So when the bill arrives one can forget about the taste of the food)))

The name of the restaurant is Jin Kichi.
Opposite of the tube exit - just cross the road and 10 meters up the hill.
A bit greenish colour outside.
Be careful - this place is VERY popular.
Interior is very simple, even primitive.
But do not worry - it is one of the best.
Concerning the bill... I would say - medium.

Generaly saying - you are still "Subject". "Citizenship" that is a kind of fashion after joining the EC and falling down under Brussels Rules.

Hi, all!

A crowd is certainly an appropriate word to define the target audience of the forum :-)
To be serious, both pilots and ATC's need practice in spoken language most. That's why the abilities of this thread are quite limited at this field.

Greetings!

Yehhh, spoken language is more important than typing.
But still - chat is a nice chance to have some practice.
At least the understanding that REAL international english is a bit different from
let say "official version in Russia".
It is more forgiving if I may say so.
